Channel Letter Construction Types
Front-Lit Channel Letters
Build: Aluminum returns, acrylic face, trim cap, internal LED modules.
Best for: Highest-volume reseller SKU. Storefront retail, QSR, multi-tenant centers.
Halo-Lit (Reverse) Channel Letters
Build: Solid aluminum face, clear polycarbonate back, standoff hardware for wall halo.
Best for: Corporate, hospitality and retail projects seeking a restrained halo effect.
Front + Halo (Combo) Letters
Build: Translucent face + perforated back for dual illumination.
Best for: Hospitality, flagship retail, and developer marquee programs.
Open-Face / Exposed Neon Style
Build: Aluminum returns with exposed LED neon or sign-rated tubing.
Best for: Entertainment, hospitality, and brand-forward QSR rollouts.
Stud-Mounted Fabricated Letters
Build: Non-illuminated fabricated metal or acrylic, threaded studs + pattern.
Best for: Lobby, monument tenant panels, and wayfinding reseller programs.
The wholesale manufacturing process
1. Artwork & Engineering
Vector artwork is normalized to production specifications and sized to the approved elevation. Listing, engineering and permit-document requirements are confirmed in the written scope.
2. Returns & Faces
Aluminum coil (.040 – .063) is rolled, welded, and finished for the return walls. Faces are CNC-routed from acrylic, polycarbonate, or formed from aluminum for halo-lit builds.
3. Trim Cap & Assembly
Color-matched Jewelite or Tridon trim cap seals the face to the return. Internal raceways, low-voltage wiring, and weep holes are added on the production floor.
4. LED Modules & Power Supplies
Specified LED modules and power supplies are laid out for the approved letter geometry. Required testing and product documentation are confirmed for the order.
5. Crating & Drop-Ship
Packaging, destination, mounting patterns and order documents are coordinated for the reseller, install partner or end site.

What affects wholesale lead time?
Approved artwork, quantity, construction, components, required documentation, production capacity, packaging and freight all affect timing. The accepted quote should state the current schedule.
Are your wholesale letters UL listed?
Listing and labeling requirements depend on the product and project. Include the required standard and documentation in the request so the team can confirm what is available in the written quote.
Can you drop-ship directly to the install site?
Direct-to-site or install-partner delivery can be requested. Packaging, freight responsibility, delivery access and required order documents are confirmed before acceptance.
What artwork format do you need to quote?
Vector EPS, AI, or PDF with outlined fonts is ideal. We'll quote off a flat JPG/PNG if needed and prepare production-ready vector for your approval before fabrication.
Do you private-label for resellers?
Private-label requirements can be requested. Branding, packing documents and any end-customer materials are confirmed as part of the order scope.
